Requirements can differ based on the year a student began high school. Please check with your school counselor about specific requirements for you, and also review the requirements for graduating "college and career ready."
To graduate, high school students must earn a minimum of 21 credits
Graduating students must have completed a minimum of 75 hours of service learning. Students begin service learning projects in middle school, and most will have earned the required 75 hours by the beginning of high school.
Algebra
Students who took Algebra I in 2016-17 or later:
Pass PARCC or
Pass PARCC re-test or
Complete Bridge plan
Students who took Algebra I prior to 2016-17:
Participate in the assessment aligned to the course
Biology
Pass Biology HSA or
Complete Biology Bridge Validation or
Meet combined score requirement or
Participate in the Biology HSA in the 2016-17 school year or
Participate in HS MISA in the 2017-2018, 2018-2019, or 2019-2020 school year
Students can meet the Biology requirement with the following combined score options:
English
Students who took English II in 2016-17 or later:
Pass PARCC or
Pass PARCC re-test or

Students who took English II prior to 2016-17:
Participate in the assessment aligned to the course
Government
Students who entered 9th grade in 2013-14 or later:
Pass Government HSA or
Complete Government Bridge Validation or

Students can meet the Government requirement with the following combined score options:
